Follow with Skin Dream and Elixir for optimum renewal.

Note: Begin by using Youth Potion Advanced two to three evenings per week, allowing your skin time to adjust to the increased potency. As your skin becomes more comfortable, you can slowly increase frequency.

Always wear SPF the morning after application, and avoid using exfoliating formulas on the same day as Youth Potion.

Tap the ZAMAC tip gently on a hard surface to loosen it.
Rinse and dry the tip, giving it a gentle polish with a bamboo bud.

How to refill:

Twist the cap anticlockwise to remove, then twist the ring clockwise to remove.
Remove the empty pod and twist the base fully clockwise to reset.
Remove the lid from your new refill pod and insert the whole base into the case.
Re-attach the ring, twisting anticlockwise until it clicks, and pop the cap back on.
Twist the base anticlockwise to raise the product and you're good to go.

Will This Cause Purging or Irritation?

Because Youth Potion Advanced contains high-strength retinal, some users may experience temporary dryness or mild sensitivity as skin adjusts.

To minimise discomfort:

Introduce slowly – build up tolerance with original Youth Potion first, or stagger usage from 1–2 times a week and gradually increase to daily use.
Avoid layering with other strong exfoliating acids.
Focus on hydration and barrier support.
Use SPF daily.

If irritation persists, pause use and reintroduce gradually.

I’m New to Retinal, Is Youth Potion Advanced Right for Me?

Youth Potion Advanced is designed for experienced vitamin A/retinal users.

Because this formula contains our highest-strength natural retinal and 7x more potent actives than our original Youth Potion, if you are new to vitamin A/retinal, we recommend finishing two full-size bottles of the original Youth Potion first.

Once your skin has built tolerance and feels comfortable using retinal regularly, you can progress to Youth Potion Advanced for amplified results.

What is the difference between bio-retinol and retinal?

The bio-retinol in Skin Dream is derived from the blackjack flower. It offers a gentler alternative to retinol and is suitable for use during pregnancy and breastfeeding. It helps brighten the skin and soften fine lines.

The advanced marine retinal in Youth Potion is a next-generation Vitamin A derivative that works 11× faster than traditional retinol, helping to rejuvenate the skin by encouraging fresh, new skin cells for a more youthful appearance.

You can use both of these products in the same routine for enhanced results.

Can I use Youth Potion if I am pregnant or breastfeeding?

Vitamin A derivatives work deeply within the skin. Industry-wide guidance advises that individuals who are pregnant or breastfeeding should avoid vitamin A products, including retinal. Please consult your GP or healthcare provider before using Youth Potion.

As an alternative, we recommend Skin Dream, which contains a plant-based bio-retinol to brighten skin, soften fine lines, and even tone.

Skin Dream is safe for use during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Why is sun protection even more important when using retinal?

Retinal increases cell turnover and can make the skin more sensitive to UV exposure. When your skin is renewing more quickly, the fresh new cells are more vulnerable to sun damage, even if you apply retinal only at night.

Using a high-protection SPF 50 each morning helps prevent the risk of UV-induced ageing, pigmentation, and irritation.

Can I use Youth Potion during micro-needling, laser, waxing, or chemical peel treatments?

We recommend avoiding retinol, retinal, and other advanced exfoliating actives for a week before and 2 weeks after any invasive or advanced facial treatment such as laser procedures, waxing, or chemical peels.

For micro-needling, these ingredients should be avoided for 2 weeks before and after treatment. After the recommended downtime, you can gradually reintroduce these actives to support ongoing skin results.

Because every treatment and skin type is different, always follow the guidance of your treatment provider, who may tailor recommendations based on your skin’s needs. Before your appointment, be sure to disclose your current skincare routine, so they can provide the appropriate advice.
